I am not a toy
to be used for your pleasure,
I am a child
who was meant to be treasured...
I am not a toy
your cheap, little plaything,
I am a human,
a living, breathing being...
I am not a toy
to be discarded in a heap,
I am a child who deserved my innocence to keep...
I am not a toy
to be disregarded in a corner,
I am a childhood
dead with no one to mourn her...
I am not a toy that you can break and throw away,
I am a child
who doesn't know how to play...
I am not a toy
to be done with as you will,
I am the one you've damaged almost too much to heal...
I am a Child...
broken, bleeding, hurting, used...
I am a Child...
a victim of abuse...
